Cathy trained as a food technologist via Massey University. Her career in the food industry has comprised time working in dairy research and in QA, product development and systems design projects for food manufacturing business in both New Zealand and England.

Since founding McFoodies in 2000, Cathy has grown the business to be the leading provider of Food Technology expertise to the NZ Food Manufacturing and Retailing industry. 

Cathy has been involved in a wide range of projects for clients, including food labelling, food safety assessments, and the creation of internal systems and paperwork such as specifications and food safety programmes.

Introducing Fab Foodie Forum.   These FREE sessions are held in Auckland about every 2 months to give the food industry an opportunity to network and create links between those attending.

The sessions include interesting and relevant presentations by experts from within the food industry.   Complimentary great coffee and cold drinks are served from 4pm and the presentations start about 5pm.
